Since 2002, Leah Crowling has been been helping individuals, couples and families make meaningful change and live their best lives.

My clinical approach combines a Family Systems perspective with a strong Cognitive Behavioral background. I believe in identifying client strengths, and working collaboratively with clients to put in the hard work necessary to make meaningful change and meet their goals. Everyone struggles at times. Making the decision to reach out and get the help you need takes strength and courage.  I hope you will allow me the privilege of getting to know and help you or your family.

Leah Crowling, LMFT

I received my Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Maryland at College Park, and after obtaining my clinical licensure moved to Chicago, where I completed a post-graduate fellowship and later taught and supervised graduate students at The Family Institute at Northwestern University.   I am a long-standing clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.  I have worked in a variety of settings over the years, including private offices, clinics, clients' homes and schools.  In addition to individual and family therapy, I have enjoyed developing and running child and adult therapeutic and psycho-educational groups, and presenting talks on a variety of therapeutic and parenting topics in the community.  After attending UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergrad in the 1990s, the Triangle area has held a special place in my heart.  Settling back in this area with my husband and children has been a dream come true.  I look forward to deepening roots in this area as I build my practice here, as well as continue to be available for remote long-distance consultation.  When not striving to keep my clients happy and healthy, I enjoy running, sewing, design and photography.
